Two popular TV stations — including the one that airs many Seattle Seahawks and Seattle Sounders games along with Major League Baseball — can’t be seen anymore by Dish subscribers.

On Sunday evening, June 12, Dish cut off access to Q13 Fox and Joe TV to its customers in the greater Seattle area, including in Whatcom County.

Dish and Tribune Broadcasting Company are arguing over money for programming on Tribune’s stations and the value of its flagship, WGN. It’s the latest spat between Dish and a station owner, with consumers getting caught in the middle.

Q13, which is officially known as KCPQ Fox 13, is asking its viewers to call 855-LUV-KCPQ to demand Dish put return the station to its channel lineup. It’s also got a webpage with its details: dumpdish.com/kcpq.php. Joe TV, officially called KZJO, also refers people to that site and phone number.

Dish has its own webpage and video to explain the sitaution at dishpromise.com. It tells you to call the KCPQ station manager at 206-674-1313 and say you support Dish.
