Sehome moves graduation ceremony to Squalicum High School
Sehome High School will have its graduation at Squalicum High School due to weather concerns, Sehome Principal Michelle Kuss-Cybula said Thursday, June 9.
The ceremony will move to Squalicum High School’s gym but will remain at 5 p.m. Saturday, June 11.
Despite the change, the event’s capacity will stay the same. Students were each given eight tickets, and guests will need a ticket to get in, Kuss-Cybula said. School administration will distribute any extra tickets at the graduation rehearsal at 9:30 a.m. Friday.
Parking tickets are also required due to limited parking at Squalicum. Graduates will be given two parking tickets.
The ceremony will be at Squalicum even if Saturday’s forecast improves, Kuss-Cybula said.
