Expect delays on Ferndale’s Washington Street

Drivers who frequent Washington Street between Vista Drive and Third Avenue should expect daytime delays Thursday and Friday, June 2 and 3, for paving.

The two-block stretch will be reduced to one lane of alternating traffic between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. both days, the city of Ferndale said. Flaggers will direct traffic during those hours.

The closure will allow a private contractor to repave a section of the street.
