Work on bridges in Stimpson Family Nature Reserve set for May 4
Work on bridges over trails in Stimpson Family Nature Reserve will be done on Wednesday, May 4.
Crews will replace deteriorating decking to improve safety and lengthen the life of the bridges.
Visitors to the reserve should expect increased foot traffic, noise and delays at times while hiking the reserve’s trails between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Wednesday.
The project is a collaboration of Whatcom Land Trust and the Whatcom County Parks and Recreation Department, with support from REI.
