Get ready to say goodbye to some familiar faces who have brought news to the Pacific Northwest for decades.

Four veteran KING 5 staff members — Dennis Bounds, Jeff Renner, Jean Enersen and Linda Byron — will sign off Friday, April 22.

All four accepted voluntary early retirement, an offer made to qualified employees throughout the organization, according to KING 5. Most of them had been at the station for decades.

“It would be impossible to adequately express how much these individuals have contributed over the years, or how much they will be missed. They are leaders in our community, philanthropists, mentors to their colleagues and some of the greatest local journalists in the country,” said Jim Rose, KING 5 Vice President and Station Manager.
