WWU, Bellingham Technical College to host career fairs

Western Washington University and Bellingham Technical College will be hosting career fairs in the coming weeks.

Western will host its Spring Career Fair from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, April 21, in the Viking Union Multipurpose Room. Admission is free; the fair is open to the public. Participating employers include Insight Global, Seattle Parks and Recreation, SPIE and Providence Digital Innovation. For more information, call 360-650-3240.

BTC will host three career fairs, all open to the public. The first is the health career fair, which will be Thursday, April 14. That’s followed by the manufacturing and industrial career fair on Thursday, April 28. A financial fair will take place the same day, providing information about financial aid, workforce funding and scholarships. The third fair is the business, culinary and fisheries career fair on Monday, May 9.

All three BTC fairs run from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the school’s Settlemyer Hall at 3028 Lindbergh Ave.
