Interstate 5 near the Main Street exit will be congested at times Monday through Thursday, April 11-14, because of bridge inspections.

State Department of Transportation crews will close one lane in either direction at I-5’s Main Street exit to inspect the bridge that passes over the freeway. DOT inspects the bridge every other year as part of its bridge inspection program, according to a statement from the department.

The schedule of the closures on I-5 at Main Street:

Monday, April 11: Northbound left lane from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Tuesday, April 12: Northbound right lane from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Wednesday, April 13: Southbound right lane from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Thursday, April 14: Southbound left lane from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
