Southbound I-5 lane closed Sunday morning in Bellingham

Freeway drivers on Sunday morning, April 3, should expect a lane closure near Iowa Street.

Guardrail repairs on Interstate 5 are scheduled for 5 to 10 a.m. Sunday. To do the work, Washington State Department of Transportation crews will close the southbound left lane at Iowa Street.

The work is weather dependent so if it rains, which it’s not expected to, the work could be delayed.
