Authors’ event benefits Van Zandt Community Hall

Local authors will gather at Van Zandt Community Hall from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 2, for a literary event that will raise money for the upkeep of the hall at 4106 Valley Highway, at the corner of Highway 9 and Potter Road.

Authors expected to appear at the “South Fork Showcase” include Pam Beason, Susan Colleen Brown, Matthew Thuney, Lois Harris, Rae Ellen Lee, Richard Little, Jennifer Mueller, Gail Noble-Sanderson, Janet Oakley and JoAnn Roe.

People are welcome to visit with the authors, who will sell, sign, and read from their books. Admission is free; food will be available. The event is sponsored by South Fork Valley Community Association.
