Plant sales set this weekend in Bellingham

A pair of popular annual plant sales are scheduled this weekend.

Whatcom Conservation District’s 23rd annual Native Plant Sale (and ninth annual expo), featuring more than 40 species of native, bareroot trees and shrubs along with a variety of potted perennials, is 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 26, at the Roe Studio on the Whatcom Community College campus, 400 W. The 28th annual Fairhaven Neighbors Plant and Tree Sale is 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, March 26, in the parking lot of Hillcrest Chapel, 1400 Larrabee Ave. More than a dozen local nurseries and specialty vendors are bringing perrenials, annuals, trees, shrubs, herbs, berries, native plants and garden decor.
