Seattle-area museums offer free admission Saturday, March 12
Several Seattle-area museums are participating in a special Museum Day Live! event Saturday, March 12, offering free admission for one person and a guest.
Museum Day Live! is normally in autumn, when several Whatcom and Skagit county museums participate. This is an additional free day, promoted for Women’s History Month in March.
Only Seattle-area venues are among the Western Washington museums participating in the nationwide March free day, including: Kids Discovery Museum on Bainbridge Island; Bellevue Arts Museum; Museum of Glass in Tacoma; Seattle Art Museum; Wing Luke Museum of the Asian Pacific Experience; and the Experience Music Project in Seattle.
To get a ticket, go online to smithsonianmag.com/museumday and choose a participating museum. Free tickets are limited to two per address.
