Volunteers are sought to help package food Saturday, Feb. 27, to help those in need.
The Rotary Club of Bellingham is partnering with the group Stop Hunger Now for the event. It starts at 9 a.m. at St. Luke’s Community Health Education Center at 3333 Squalicum Parkway and goes until the meals are packaged, according to a news release.
Stop Hunger Now is a volunteer-based program that delivers disaster relief items in the form of food, medical, clothing and school supplies to vulnerable people in 65 countries.
