Woods Coffee in Boulevard Park closed for remodeling

Woods Coffee is doing a major remodel of its Boulevard Park cafe that should help improve customer traffic on those busy summer days.

Work on the cafe began Monday, Feb. 22, and it will be closed through Wednesday, March 2. It will reopen on Thursday, March 3, with 99-cent 12-ounce hot drinks from 6:30 a.m. to noon, according to the company’s Facebook page.

Owner Wes Herman said much of the remodel will focus on the working area, improving the layout flow. The remodel also will create more seating in the lobby area and open up the Kiln Room conference area.

The company recently finished a complete remodel of its Bender Plaza location in Lynden.
