The spring-like February heat wave set a record Tuesday, Feb. 9, when the temperature reached 61 degrees.

That broke the Feb. 9 record high of 59, set in 1963, according to National Weather Service records. A heat wave early that February set multiple daily records, many of which still stand.

The sunny weather isn’t sticking around. The National Weather Service forecast calls for increasing clouds with a 30 percent chance of rain Wednesday. Rain is likely Thursday and Friday, with showers Saturday and more rain Sunday and Monday.
