Water shut down near Yew Street due to broken water main
About 200 customers will be without water for up to six hours Monday, Dec. 7, due to a broken water main on Yew Street, according to the city.
Water will be shut down starting at 3 p.m. Monday — after nearby Wade King Elementary School lets out for the day. The water main broke on Yew Street south of Reveille Street.
The city estimates around 200 customers will be affected while city crews repair a cast iron pipe that is more than 45 years old.
