Developer planning apartment building in Cordata

A community meeting is scheduled Nov. 24 to talk about plans to build an 88-unit apartment building in the Cordata neighborhood.

The Park View Apartments is proposed to go on five acres of undeveloped land off of Stuart Road, near Whatcom Community College’s new Health Professions Education Center on Stuart Road at Cordata Parkway.

The RJ Group has scheduled the meeting to introduce the project and answer questions. The meeting starts at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 24, at Whatcom Community College’s Foundation Building.

The proposed Park View Apartments will be in one four-story building and include indoor amenities such as an elevator, bike storage and a lounge area. Outdoor space will include a barbecue area. For further details about the meeting, call 360-738-9033.
