Airporter Shuttle to add WWU stop

The Airporter Shuttle is adding a new pickup spot for Western Washington University students for the holidays.

Starting Monday, Nov. 23, and going through Jan. 6, the shuttle will stop in front of Western’s Performing Arts Center on High Street for trips to and from Sea-Tac airport. This will cover the university’s Thanksgiving and winter breaks.

The shuttle also plans to bring back the stop March 9-19 to cover spring break.

“We wanted to better serve the WWU community,” said Joel Litwin, marketing coordinator for the Airporter Shuttle. “Our recent move from McDonald’s in Bellingham to our new office on Iowa Street left students without an easy way to get to us.”

The new WWU stop is available for the general public, but 24-hour advance reservations are required. The shuttle offers 10 daily round-trips to Sea-Tac.
