Medical interventions focus of free talk in Bellingham

“The Realities of Advanced Medical Interventions” will be the focus of a free presentation at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 4, at Whatcom Educational Credit Union’s Education Center.

The event at 511 E. Holly St. is open to the public.

Two intensive-care nurses will discuss what advance medical interventions mean to patients and their families.

They also will talk about actual outcomes for patients for the short and long term, organizers said. Participants will learn about CPR, mechanical ventilation, dialysis and medicine to support blood pressure.

There also will be time for people to ask questions.
