Adults and children alike played dress-up as they searched for Halloween outfits at the Bellingham Theatre Guild’s annual costume sale Saturday, Oct. 17 in Bellingham.

BTG director Teri Grimes said the Guild tries to have a costume and prop sale each year around Halloween.

“We build up a lot of stuff over the year and need to get rid of it due to room,” she said. “Some are vintage hats and gloves that people collect.”

Many of the props and costumes are used only once or twice before they go on sale.

Money raised from the sale goes back into the general fund of the theatre guild.
