A free program on benefits for veterans and their families will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, at the Ferndale Library, 2125 Main St.

Presented by the Whatcom County Veteran Navigator Program, service veterans can learn about VA health care, military discharge papers, and other VA benefits. People who attend should bring their DD214 military discharge paper, if they have it.
