BELLINGHAM

State troopers have cleared a collision on Interstate 5 that blocked southbound lanes at the Lakeway Drive exit, but a long backup is still slowing traffic through Bellingham.

The accident happened at about 7:15 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 7, according to Washington State Patrol, and took more than an hour to clear.

No further details about the crash were immediately available.
