Hundreds in Ferndale still without power in afternoon outage

Power to about 547 Puget Sound Energy customers was expected to be back on by 5 p.m. Monday, Sept. 7.

What caused the outage was under investigation, according to the PSE outage map.

The outage was reported at 1:50 p.m. and affected at least 2,170 customers.

The remaining customers without power were in an area off Portal Way.

PSE couldn’t immediately be reached for comment.
