These local agencies, businesses will be closed Friday, Saturday for holiday
The Fourth of July is Saturday, but some local stores, banks and other businesses will be closed Friday, July 3, to honor the holiday.
These Bellingham businesses, agencies and services will be closed Friday, July 3 and/or Saturday, July 4:
- All U.S. Postal Service post offices in Whatcom County will be closed Saturday, July 4.
- Bank locations across Whatcom County will be closed Saturday, July 4.
- All branches of the Bellingham Public Library will be closed Friday and Saturday.
- The Bellingham Food Bank will be closed Friday and Saturday.
- Most Bellingham city services will not be available Friday and Saturday.
- Washington State Department of Licensing offices will be closed Friday and Saturday.
- Whatcom County District Court will be closed Friday and Saturday.
- All Costco locations will be closed Saturday, July 4.
- All Trader Joe’s locations will be close early at 5 p.m. on Saturday, July 4.
- All FedEx services will have modified services on Friday, and will be closed Saturday.
- All UPS locations will be closed and services will not be running.
Most grocery stores, restaurants and other retailers will remain open, but may have shorter operating hours.
