What: Create your own watercolor wildflowers at this painting class taught by local artist Holly Hudson. In addition to three hours of guided instruction, supplies and a take-home watercolor kit, attendees get a complimentary glass of wine, beer or cocktail. A Toast to Mom: Poems & Pints

What: Raise a pint to Mom at this fundraiser for the Salish Sea Poetry Festival. Attendees can enjoy “an afternoon of good food and brews, laid-back Bellingham vibes and something truly special: poetry composed ... by celebrated local poets with their trusty typewriters,” organizers said.
