One of Bellingham’s unique beer festivals is returning to the Sunnyland neighborhood, bringing beer, food, and garden attire just in time for spring.

The Sunnyland Garden Party is an annual festival in its sixth year. It runs from Friday, April 24 through Sunday, April 26.

The festival is featuring five local breweries in the Sunnyland neighborhood: Kulshan Brewing Company, Wander Brewing, Stemma Brewing Company West, Otherlands Beer and El Sueñito Brewing Company.

“The Sunnyland Garden Party is a celebration of springtime where folks can try new beer releases from each brewery, enjoy fun food specials, live music, makers markets and dress up in fancy and fun Garden Party attire,” Karolina Lobrow, owner and manager of Otherlands Beer, told The Bellingham Herald.

“Participants can visit each brewery over the course of the weekend, collect stamps on a punch card and enter in a chance to win themed packages with gift cards and goodies from local Sunnyland businesses along with brewery swag,” Lobrow said.

The festival is more than a normal bar crawl, as the spring-themed festival aims to feature local breweries, artists, musicians and more.
