UPDATE (5:30 p.m. March 9): The missing teen has been located, and Washington State Patrol has canceled its MIPA. The original article follows below.

Washington State Patrol has issued a Missing Indigenous Person Alert (MIPA) for a 16-year-old girl who was last seen around 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 8 in the Bellingham area.

Ariel Feliciano was last seen wearing a black jacket with black sweatpants and white slippers. She is described as being 5 feet, 2 inches tall and weighing 130 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes.

WSP issued the alert on behalf of the Lummi Nation Police Department. Anyone with information is asked to call 911 and reference case number 26I01935.
