A downtown Bellingham restaurant has permanently closed after only two months of business.

Country Patty’s Cafe, a breakfast and brunch restaurant, opened Dec. 10. The menu included omelets, eggs Benedict, pancakes, waffles, burgers, sandwiches, salads and more.

The restaurant permanently closed Friday, Feb. 20, just over two months after opening, according to a social media post.

“Hello everyone, unfortunately due to major issues we have decided to close our restaurant we appreciate all our wonderful customers who came in and supported us. Thank you all,” a Feb. 20 Facebook post states.

The cafe was at 1415 Railroad Ave., the previous location of Ay Chihuahua Cantina.
