“It is with a heavy heart we announce that after many memorable years serving scoops in the heart of Fairhaven, the Crooked Spoon Ice Cream Shop will be closing its doors following the sale of the building at 1021 Harris Ave.,” a Jan. 19 Instagram post from the company states.

“While this marks the end of a cherished chapter for our Fairhaven shop, we are closing with deep gratitude for the community that has supported and celebrated with us over the years,” the post states.

“We want to be clear: this closure is not a reflection of Crooked Spoon’s overall business, which remains strong and growing. Crooked Spoon ice cream will continue to be available in grocery stores nationwide, as well as your local Haggens, and our commitment to making full‑strength, premium ice cream is as strong as ever. We look ahead with optimism and excitement for what comes next.,” the post states.
