When are grocery stores open in Bellingham on Thanksgiving?
Here’s when local grocery stores will be open on Thanksgiving Day, and which will be closed:
- Costco: Closed
- Fred Meyer: Open 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Grocery Outlet: Closed
- Haggen Northwest Fresh: Open 6 a.m to 12 a.m.
- Safeway: Open 5 a.m. to midnight
- Community Food Co-op: Closed
- Trader Joe’s: Closed
- Walmart: Closed
- Whole Foods Market: Open 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- WinCo: The 24-hour store closes at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday and reopens at 7 a.m. Friday.
Are local pharmacies open on Thanksgiving?
Hoagland Pharmacy, Rx Mart Pharmacy and Unity Care NW will be closed on Thursday for Thanksgiving.
Costco, Target and Walgreens pharmacies will be closed in observance of the holiday. S
So will most grocery store pharmacies.
Is the mall open on Thanksgiving?
Bellis Fair mall in Bellingham will be closed, according to its website.
What else is closed in Bellingham for Thanksgiving?
Government offices will be closed on Thursday for Thanksgiving Day, including:
- Bellingham city offices, including City Hall
- Bellingham Public Library
- U.S. post offices
- Washington State Department of Licensing offices
Most banks will be closed in observance of the holiday, including Chase Bank, Key Bank, US Bank, and Wells Fargo.
