Key Ferndale intersection will be closed Wednesday; here are detour routes
The intersection at Ferndale Terrace and Hendrickson Avenue in Ferndale will be closed to all through traffic Wednesday, Oct. 22.
The closure will be in effect from 5 a.m. to 6 p.m., with detours set up for through traffic. People who live near the work zone will still be able to access their homes, according to a press release from the city of Ferndale.
The closure is in addition to the ongoing closure of Ferndale Terrace between Vista Drive and Hendrickson Avenue, according to the release.
The utility work is associated with the Ferndale Terrace Improvement Project, which involves the reconstruction of about 2,500 feet of the existing roadway to bring it up to city standards, according to the city.
