Meet cutest cat finalists in Bellingham Herald’s contest & vote for your favorite
The Bellingham Herald is a step closer to crowning the cutest cat in the Bellingham area.
Readers living in and near Whatcom County submitted their most fetching felines to our cutest cat contest. We received about a dozen submissions featuring a wide range of breeds, ages and names, and now the top five finishers are moving on to Round 2
So, rally your friends, family members and fellow cat people to vote for your favorites and zero in on a winner.

Voting in Round 2 of the Herald’s cutest cat contest is open now. All you have to do is click on the poll below to start throwing some love at your favorite felines.
You may vote as many times as you’d like until voting closes.
How long will voting last in the Bellingham cutest cat contest?
Voting ends at 11:59 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 27.
The winner will be announced on Monday, Nov. 3, on BellinghamHerald.com. We plan to make that top cat the star of their very own feature story loaded up with more adorable photos.
Cutest cat and dog contests are taking place at more than 20 McClatchy newspapers across the country. The winners from each market will automatically be entered into a second contest to determine the Cutest Cat and Cutest Dog in the country, launching Monday, Nov. 10.
