Here’s our weekly roundup of the latest retail and restaurant activity around Whatcom County:

New Bellingham deli proposed

A building permit application was filed for a new deli restaurant called Frankie’s Deli at 2517 Meridian St. in Bellingham, the previous location of Junior Flooring & Construction LLC. The application was filed on Sept. 30 with an estimated cost of $4,000, but has not been approved as of Oct. 10.

New Barkley Village business

A new physical therapy office may be coming to Barkley Village, as a building permit application was filed for 2075 Barkley Blvd., suite 100 to be converted into an office for Barkley Medical LLC. The application has an estimated cost of $245,000 and was filed on Oct. 3. The application has not been approved as of Oct. 10.
