UPDATE (1:45 p.m. June 24): Authorities canceled the MIPA alert Tuesday afternoon, saying the missing teen has been located. The teen’s name has been removed from the article.

The Washington State Patrol on Tuesday night issued a Missing Indigenous Person Alert (MIPA) for a 15-year-old Bellingham girl who was last seen around 7 p.m. June 23 near Jefferson Street in Bellingham, heading in an unknown direction.

The teen is 5 feet 2 inches tall, 130 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and blue jeans.

The MIPA alert was activated by the Washington State Patrol on behalf of the Bellingham Police Department. Anyone with information is asked to call 911 and reference case No. 25B36285.
