Senior Day in the Park at Hovander Homestead Aug. 12

Whatcom County seniors are invited to attend Meals on Wheels and More’s annual Senior Day in the Park on Wednesday, Aug. 12.

Seniors can socialize with friends, enjoy a barbecue lunch, listen to live music, and learn about more 30 community resources available to them. The even runs 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Hovander Homestead Park. Suggested donation is $5.

Meals on Wheels and More is a program of the Whatcom Council on Aging, a nonprofit organization.
