Last week, we announced the winner of our poll to find the cutest dog in Whatcom County. Now, we’re turning our attention toward Washington’s cats.

Starting today, Monday, Oct. 14, The Bellingham Herald is taking submissions for a contest to find the cutest cat in Whatcom County. You’ll have until Friday, Oct. 18 to enter your cat into the contest. Next week, we’ll open voting. Our subscribers will be able to vote on their favorite submissions, until we’ve crowned a winner. The winner will be featured in the Herald.

Here’s how you can enter your cat into the competition.

How to enter the contest

You can enter your cat into the contest by filling out this Google form. You’ll need to enter your cat’s name, age and a fun fact, along with a photo. The form will close at 3 p.m. Friday, Oct. 18.

After we received a nearly-overwhelming number of submissions last month for our cutest dog in Whatcom County competition, we’re asking that each person only submit one entry, if possible. Depending on the number of responses received, we may need to narrow down the field of entries as well.

How to vote for the cutest cat in Whatcom County

Voting will open next week after entries are announced, and is limited to Herald subscribers only. If you know someone who would like to enter the contest or vote, you can send them our subscription options, including a $0.99 for your first month introductory offer, at this link.
