Park Service seeks info on missing man who reportedly was attempting to scale Mount Shuksan

A man who was attempting to climb the Fisher Chimneys route at Mount Shuksan in eastern Whatcom County was reported missing Aug. 19.

Daniel Gabriel, 42, is a white male, 6 feet, 2 inches tall and weighing about 225 pounds, according to the U.S. Park Rangers of the North Cascades National Park.

Gabriel was climbing Mount Shuksan via the Fisher Chimneys route and was expected to return Aug. 23, according to a missing person report from the National Park Service.
