These Bellingham businesses and offices will be closed Wednesday in honor of Juneteenth

Juneteenth is Wednesday, June 19, and celebrates the emancipation of enslaved people in the United States. The national holiday will also result in local stores, banks and other businesses being closed in respect.

These Bellingham businesses will be closed on Wednesday, June 19, 2024:

All United States Postal Service post offices in Whatcom County

Bank locations across Whatcom County

The Bellingham Food Bank

All branches of the Bellingham Public Library

Most Bellingham city services

Washington State Department of Licensing offices

Most grocery stores, pharmacies, UPS, FedEx, restaurants and other retailers will remain open.
