Looking for a local Easter brunch, egg hunt or event this weekend? The Bellingham Herald has you covered. Here’s your guide to Bellingham’s Easter events to celebrate the holiday this weekend.

Easter brunches

Penny Farthing, Chuckanut Bay Distillery’s restaurant is hosting brunch from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, March 31. The buffet menu includes a Belgian waffle bar, bourbon glazed smoked ham, deviled eggs, yogurts and granola, pastries and salads. The buffet costs $50 for adults, $20 for children ages 6 to 10 and free for children 5 and under. Tickets can be purchased online in advance. Penny Farthing is at 1309 Cornwall Ave.

The Lighthouse Grill at Hotel Bellwether is hosting Easter brunch from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, March 31. The buffet will include an egg benedict and omelet bar, oysters, shrimp cocktails, salads, fruits, waffles, salmon, prime rib, ham and a dessert bar. The buffet costs $75 per person, $35 for children 10 and under and is free for children 5 and under. Reservations are required and can be made by calling 360-392-3100. The Lighthouse Grill is at 1 Bellwether Way.

Boundary Bay Brewery and Bistro will host an Easter egg hunt and brunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, March 31. The Easter egg hunt is for kids only and starts at 1 p.m. The brunch menu includes the restaurant’s regular menu, along with specials: eggs benedict, pecan French toast, biscuits and chorizo gravy and hot cross buns. Boundary Bay Brewery is at 1107 Railroad Ave.

Skylark’s Hidden Cafe will host an Easter brunch from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, March 31, and will also be open for dinner. The brunch menu includes special dishes such as lemon poppyseed pancakes, corned beef hash, deviled eggs, strawberry rhubarb tiramisu and special mimosas and sangria. Reservations are recommended and can be made by calling 360-715-3642. Skylark’s is at 1308 11th St.

B-Town Kitchen and Raw Bar will be open from noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday, March 31 with a special four-course meal. The menu includes honey lemon salmon, salad, an apricot glazed lamb shank or prime rib and cheesecake. The meal costs $54 per person, $50 for seniors and there is a kids menu available. Reservations are encouraged and can be made by calling 360-392-6502. B-Town Kitchen and Raw Bar is at 714 Lakeway Dr.

Easter egg hunts

The R.B. Wick’s Annual Easter Egg Hunt is back for its seventh year, with Easter eggs hidden across Whatcom County with a total value of over $12,000. The hunt starts at daybreak on Saturday, March 30. Wooden eggs will be hidden all around Whatcom County, but there is a limit of two eggs per person. Eggs can be brought to Bellingham Coin Shop to be redeemed for prizes. Bellingham Coin Shop is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday at 1806 Cornwall Ave.

Gruff Brewing is hosting an adults-only Easter egg hunt from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, March 31. The 21 and up event includes raffles prizes, candy, drink specials, beer and mimosa specials. Gruff Brewing is at 104 E Maple St.

Lutherwood Camp and Retreat Center is hosting an egg hunt at 3 p.m. Saturday, March 30. The event is aimed for ages 12 and under, but teenagers are also welcome. The event includes over 1,000 eggs, prizes, egg toss, the Easter Bunny and coloring activities. Lutherwood Camp is at 1185 Roy Rd.

The Bellis Fair mall will have a mall-wide egg hunt at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 30. The event will include 5,000 hidden Easter eggs, photos with the Easter Bunny, a 2-foot chocolate Easter bunny and raffle drawings. Those planing to participate are encouraged to register in advance online. The Bellis Fair mall is at 1 Bellis Fair Parkway.

A glow-in-the-dark Easter Egg hunt will be at Cornwall Park from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, March 31. The event is hosted by Miraculous Events and will include over 2,000 Easter eggs hidden around the park. Cornwall Park is at 3424 Meridian St.

Other Easter events

Bellingham’s Barnes and Noble store will host an Easter story time and egg hunt at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 30. The event will also include crafts and coloring for all ages. Barnes and Noble is at 4099 Meridian St.

A multi-church sunrise service will be held at 7 a.m. on Sunday, March 31 at Boulevard Park. The event is free to attend and is open for all ages. Boulevard Park is at 470 Bayview Dr.

Bellewood Farms is celebrating Easter from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 30 and Sunday, March 31. The weekend celebration will include live music from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. both days, a candy shop pop-up, photos with the Easter bunny, apple cider donuts, distillery tastings and food from the farm’s cafe. Bellewood Farms is at 6140 Guide Meridian Rd. in Lynden.
