Looking for a place to watch the Super Bowl? These Bellingham bars are showing the game

Football fans rejoice, Super Bowl LVIII is finally here. The 58th edition of the NFL’s annual end-of-season championship game takes place this Sunday in Las Vegas, Nevada. Whether you’re a fan looking for a place to root for your favorite team in a fun atmosphere, or just in it for the commercials and the half-time show, Bellingham has plenty of options to watch Sunday’s game.

Here are a few options (not an exhaustive list) of places around town that will be screening the Super Bowl live.

Aslan Depot

1322 N State St., Bellingham

Aslan Brewing Company is hosting a Super Bowl watch party on Sunday at its barrel-aging facility and event space, Aslan Depot. The game will be shown from a projector, and the downtown Bellingham venue will serve wings and nachos. The event starts at 2 p.m. and is restricted to people 21 and older.

Corner Taphouse

1125 Finnegan Way #103

During the game, customers at Corner Taphouse in Fairhaven will have access to a chili and baked potato bar for $5.

Structures Brewing

601 W Holly St., Bellingham

Downtown brewery Structures Brewing will have the game playing at its waterfront Old Town Taproom. The event starts at 3 p.m. and will feature deals on hot wings.

Sliced

70 Bellis Fair Parkway, Bellingham

Located in the Bellis Fair mall plaza, Italian restaurant Sliced is offering customers 50% off draft beer during the game. If you still manage to spend $40, they’ll throw in a free order of wings.

Extremes Sports Grill & Pizzeria

4156 Meridian St., Bellingham

Northern Bellingham sports bar Extremes will be open early on Super Bowl Sunday. Doors open at 11:30 a.m. even though the game doesn’t kick off until four hours later. They’ll have a pizza buffet and beer from Kulshan Brewing Company available to customers.

Slo Pitch Sports Grill and Casino

3720 Meridian St., Bellingham

Staying in the north of the city, Slo Pitch Sports Grill and Casino is offering $2 burgers and $4 pints of beer during the Super Bowl, along with food and drinks inspired by the two teams’ hometowns. The venue’s restaurant is open to all ages, while its bar is restricted to people ages 21 and above.
