Person injured in dwelling fire Sunday in Bellingham, cause of the blaze is unknown

One person was injured in a fire Sunday at 1134 Ellis Street in Bellingham.

The extent of the person’s injuries are unknown, and the cause is still under investigation.

When crews arrived at the fire just after 7 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 17, the fire had completely involved the structure, according to a social media post from Bellingham Fire Department.

The identity of the victim has not been released.
