Movie Under the Stars

Awareness Walk & Ride for Gastroparesis and Digestive Health

10 a.m., Depot Market Square, 1100 Railroad Ave. Free 360-927-1281. The fourth annual Awareness Walk for Gastroparesis and Digestive Health will start at the Bellingham Farmers Market and travel to Boulevard Park and back. A registration booth will offer information, silent auction, customized clothing and jewelry for sale from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. All proceeds will go directly to research through the International Foundation for Functional Gastrointestinal Disorders, a non-profit organization that works with legislators, funds research and supports people affected by intestinal disorders. Proceeds benefit many Bellingham Bay Rotary local youth-focused charities, Assistance League, Interfaith Community Health Center, and Pure Water for the World.
