As the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival brings over 1 million visitors to its 300 acres of bright flowers each year, the family farms and fields can easily become crowded.

If you’re looking for an uncrowded view of the tulip fields, we have two scenic mountains that allow you to view the flowers from above.

Little Mountain

The Little Mountain overlook is about 20 minutes from the tulip fields and offers views of Skagit County from its 932-foot elevation gain. Visitors can drive up on the paved road to the top of the mountain, or hike various trails up the mountain. Little Mountain Park is open from 10 a.m. to dusk and is at 3000 Little Mountain Road in Mount Vernon.
