With blooms delayed, we’ve updated your guide to visiting Skagit Valley tulip farms

Tulips are blooming at the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival and if you’re thinking about visiting the vibrant fields, we have the details for you to make the most of your visit.

As the tulips bloomed later than usual, some tulip farms are planning to extend their season past the original closing date of April 30.

Here’s your guide to what each Skagit Valley tulip farm offers, and what visitors can expect at each one.

Tulip Town

General admission tickets cost $17 at the gate or $15 online for visitors 12 and older, $10 at the gate or $7 online for ages 6-11 and ages 5 and under are free. Senior and military tickets are $15 at the gate, or $13 online. Visitors can also purchase an anytime pass that allows them to visit the farm once anytime during operating hours for $25, or an anytime plus pass that includes a tulip bouquet for $35. Visitors can also purchase an experience pass for $60 at the gate or $50 online that includes entry, a farm tour, a mini-workshop on how to properly cut tulips, and your own hand-cut bouquet.

Tickets include entry, parking, trolley ride, access to photo ops, access to the beer and wine garden for those 21 and older, and access to the food and espresso stand.

Dogs are allowed but must be well-behaved, kept on a short leash, and picked up after. Dog entry is free.

Drones are not allowed.

Open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday through Sunday from April 1-30. “As of right now it is looking like we will be extending our season into the first week of May,” Tulip Town wrote in a comment on an April 18 Tulip Town Facebook post.

RoozenGaarde

Tickets cost $15 for visitors ages 3 and older. Children 2 years old and younger are free. Visitors can also purchase a season pass for $40 to visit as many times as they like. Tickets can be purchased online in advance or at the gate.

Tickets include entry, parking and access to over 50 acres of tulips and daffodils and a 5-acre garden display.

Dogs are not allowed.

Drones are not allowed.

Open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday during the spring, and is open year-round. RoozenGaarde’s website states that tulips may bloom into the first week of May for visitors to view.

Garden Rosalyn

Tickets cost $17 for visitors ages 3 and older. Visitors 2 years old and younger are free. Tickets can be purchased online in advance or at the gate.

Tickets include access to the tulip gardens that use a variety of tulip colors to create and display images, along with access to food trucks and gift shop.

Dogs are allowed.

Drones are allowed.

Open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Sunday, and showcases its tulip fields in April and dahlias between May and early fall. Updated hours and information can be found on Garden Rosalyn’s Facebook page.

Tulip Valley Farms

Tulip Valley Farms has two locations visitors can visit, Tulip Valley Farm and Tulip Valley Gardens. General admission tickets for Tulip Valley Farm cost $15 online or $17 at the gate for visitors 6 years old and above. Children 5 years old and under are free. General admission tickets for Tulip Valley Gardens cost $12. Tulip Valley Gardens visitors must purchase tickets online in advance. Season passes, special event tickets and photographer passes are also available online.

Tickets include entry to acres of tulip fields, parking and access to food trucks. Special event tickets for painting classes, cow cuddling, night bloom and other events may include more than just entry and parking.

Dogs are allowed, but a $5 entry pass is required, along with keeping the dog on a leash and in the designated dog area at all times. Dogs are only allowed at the Tulip Valley Farm location, not Tulip Valley Gardens.

Drones are allowed, but only with the purchase of a drone pass for $200. Passes include entry and allow the use of a drone. Proof of insurance and a drone license are required.

Open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily April 1-30, but may extend its season through Mother’s Day on May 14 according to an email from a Tulip Valley Farm spokesperson, who also wrote the extension decision will be made at the end of April.

Tulip Valley Farm is at 15245 Bradshaw Road in Mount Vernon and Tulip Valley Gardens is at 12637 Pulver Road in Burlington.
