These cardiology providers join PeaceHealth Medical Group in Bellingham

The PeaceHealth Cardiology Center has welcomed three cardiology providers to its Bellingham clinic staff, according to the medical center.

Sarah Bedtelyon is an adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioner who has received a master’s degree in nursing from Oregon Health and Science University, as well as a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Creighton University. Bedtelyon’s medical interests include solid tumor oncology and cardiology.

“Practicing medicine allows me to serve my community,” Bedtelyon said in a Wednesday, Jan. 18, news release.

Pamela Parker is an advanced practice registered nurse and an acute care nurse practitioner who received a master’s degree in nursing at the University of Kentucky College of Nursing, and is also board-certified as a nurse practitioner. Parker has spent her career working in cardiology and electrophysiology, the study of electrical patterns in the heart.

“Every patient deserves the best possible treatment and I strive to provide that care to my patients,” Parker said in the news release.

Hannah Jacob is a doctor of nursing and received her degree from the John Hopkins School of Nursing, and is also board certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Jacob’s medical experience includes working with heart failure, hypertension, dysrhythmias and acute coronary syndrome.

“I firmly believe that healthcare is a right. I strive to provide compassionate care and take the time to listen to patients and help them achieve their health goals,” Jacob said in the news release.

The cardiology center provides care and therapy for heart conditions such as heart failure, advanced heart rhythm management, hereditary heart defects, valvular heart disease and coronary artery disease.

The cardiology center is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and can be contacted by calling 360-230-7679. The center in Bellingham at 2979 Squalicum Parkway.
