Compared to September 2021, rental prices have decreased in the 98225 ZIP code by 5% in September 2022, with an average median rent of $1,850.
Rental prices in the 98226 ZIP code saw a larger increase compared to September 2021, jumping over 15% by September 2022 with a median rent price of $2,029.
The average rent for a one-bedroom apartment in Bellingham ranged between $1,263 to $1,295 in September, according to a report from Zumper.com. A two-bedroom apartment averaged $1,850, a slight increase from August’s average of $1,825.
The current average rent for a two-bedroom apartment in Bellingham as of Oct. 4 is $1,850 a month, a 19% increase in cost compared to last year, according to Zumper.
