Samish Way I-5 on-ramp will be closed Tuesday

Drivers expecting to take the Samish Way on-ramp to southbound Interstate 5 should look for alternate routes on Tuesday, July 7.

Washington State Department of Transportation staff will close the ramp from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. to repair 350 feet of guardrail damaged by a crash on June 26 that involved a semi.

A detour will guide traffic to the southbound I-5 entrance at Chuckanut Drive/ Old Fairhaven Parkway.

A closure of the right lane of northbound I-5 at the North Lake Samish overpass that was also set for Tuesday will be rescheduled.
