Here’s when two Pride parades will be held in Bellingham

Pride events that celebrate the LGBTQIA2S+ community are being held on two weekends in July in Bellingham.

Rumors Cabaret organized the Bellingham Pride family picnic at noon Saturday, July 16, in the Boundary Bay garden, 1107 Railroad Ave., followed by a 7-10 p.m. all-ages dance at Depot Market Square, 1100 Railroad Ave., according to information on its Facebook page.

Its Pride Parade beings at noon Sunday, July 17, at Waypoint Park, 1145 Granary Ave., followed by a festival from 1-4 p.m. at Depot Market Square.

The Whatcom Pride organization is hosting events Saturday, July 30, with a pop-up parade at noon from Depot Market Square, followed by a resource fair and block party from 1-4 p.m. at Kulshan Trackside Beer Garden, 298 W. Laurel St. on the Bellingham waterfront.

The organization’s website says it’s planning an all-ages Pride dance party for September.
