While Bellingham rental home prices have increased year over year, they dipped downtown in April.
April rents in Bellingham’s 98225 ZIP code averaged $1,575, down from $1,650 in March. Rents were flat in the 98226 ZIP area at $1,850.
For the last 12 months, the $1,850 in 98226 represents a 25% price increase. In 98225 for the same period, rents increased 13%, according to RentHub, a rental housing data company. RentHub examines prices from houses, multiplexes and apartments of all bed/bath sizes.
The median rental price of one-bedroom apartments in Bellingham, according to a report from Zumper.com, also fell from $1,350 in March to $1,300 in April.
