Build and fly kites at Birch Bay Kite Festival

BIRCH BAY

The Birch Bay Kite Festival is 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, June 20-21, at the Birch Bay Visitor Center, 7900 Birch Bay Drive.

Some 250 kites will be available free to kids and dads while supplies last. There’s a $5 build-a-kite; hot dogs and kettle corn for sale. Skimboarding lessons and demonstration from 1-3 p.m. Saturday.
