Two-alarm fire damages pair of York neighborhood homes in Bellingham Sunday evening

The Bellingham Fire Department sounded a second alarm during a residential structure fire that damaged two houses in the York neighborhood near Interstate 5 Sunday evening.

Crews were called to the 1300 block of Humboldt Street at 5:44 p.m. July 5, according to the PulsePoint app.

According to a Bellingham Fire tweet at 6:35 p.m., two houses were involved in the fire.

A second tweet at 6:50 p.m. said the fire had been knocked down and there were no injuries.
